Ingredients

  • 2 Lbs Sugar
  • 10 oz Milk
  • 10 oz Coconut Flakes unsweetened
  • Vanilla Essence
  • Red Colouring

Instructions

  • Dissolve the sugar in the milk and bring to a boil.
  • Boil to 240-245°F/115-120°C (approximately 10 minutes).
  • Remove from the heat and add the coconut.
  • Pour half of the mixture into an oiled pan, 9” x 6”.
  • Colour the remaining mixture a light pink and pour onto the first half.
  • When half set, mark with an oiled knife and break into pieces when cold.
