Equipment

  • 1 Small pot with a lid.

Ingredients

  • 2 Cups Couscous
  • Cups Water
  • ¼ tsp. Salt
  • 2 tsps. Butter

Instructions

  • Bring the water and butter to a boil
  • Add the couscous, stir, cover and leave for 5 minutes.
  • Fluff the cooked couscous, adding any desired additional ingredients, and serve.

Notes

Although very satisfying simply prepared, items such as raisins, chickpeas, and toasted almonds can be added to create a more interesting dish.
Little Known Fact - Couscous is actually a type of pasta, made from semolina flour and can be purchased in different-sized pearls!
