Equipment
- 1 Small pot with a lid.
Ingredients
- 2 Cups Couscous
- 2½ Cups Water
- ¼ tsp. Salt
- 2 tsps. Butter
Instructions
- Bring the water and butter to a boil
- Add the couscous, stir, cover and leave for 5 minutes.
- Fluff the cooked couscous, adding any desired additional ingredients, and serve.
Notes
Although very satisfying simply prepared, items such as raisins, chickpeas, and toasted almonds can be added to create a more interesting dish.
Little Known Fact - Couscous is actually a type of pasta, made from semolina flour and can be purchased in different-sized pearls!
