Ingredients

Flour

Instructions
Measure the flour, sugar and salt into a mixing bowl.
Mix and then gradually whisk in the water to form a smooth batter.
Add 1 spoonful of the oil, mix well and set aside to rest for 10 minutes before using.
Check the consistency, which should lightly coat the back of a spoon.
Heat a pan over a medium flame and then pour in a ladleful of the batter.
Cook until the top is set and browned slightly on the pan surface, then turn.
Cook until the roti puffs up and both sides have brown patches.
Drizzle a little oil on both sides of the puffed roti, fry for a minute, and serve.
Notes
This recipe will make 2 large or 4 smaller rotis.
