Equipment

  • 1 Pair of Kitchen Tongs.
  • 1 Cutting Board
  • 1 Cooks Knife
  • 1 Small Grill Rack or a cake cooling rack.

Ingredients

  • 2 Lb Sweet Peppers (3 pieces). Assorted colours can be used.

Instructions

  • Wash the peppers.
  • Place the grill over an open flame on a gas stove and arrange the peppers on top.
  • Use the tongs to move the peppers around, so that they are charred on all sides.
  • When they are nicely charred, move to the cutting board and allow to cool slightly for 5 minutes.
  • Scrape the charred skin off the peppers and then cut into wedges, removing the seeds and top stem.
  • Use as desired.

Notes

These peppers are very tasty, seasoned with a light dressing of balsamic vinegar and olive oil, and a little salt and ppper.
