Krishna’s Goat Curry

Ingredients

  • 4 each Onions sliced crosswise
  • 1 each Ginger, 1" piece grated
  • 8 Cloves Garlic grated
  • 5 Lb Goat 2" cubes
  • 1 Tbspn Turmeric
  • 2 Tbspns Salt
  • 1 Tbspn Chili Powder
  • 1 Tbspn Coriander Powder
  • 1 Tbspn Garam Masala
  • 4 each Tomatoes, Large chopped
  • 1 Tbspn Meat Masala or curry powder)
  • 1 Tbspn Cumin
  • 6 each Cloves
  • 6 each Cardamom Seeds
  • 3 each Cinnamon Sticks
  • 4 each Chilis finely chopped
  • 1 pint Water
  • ½ each Bunch Coriander Fresh

Instructions

  • Brown the onions and then add the ginger and garlic.
  • Cook for 5-7 mins. until browned.add a touch of water if starting to burn).
  • Add the meat and cook until firm.
  • Add the turmeric, salt, chili powder, coriander and garam masala.
  • Cook, stirring for 5-7 mins.
  • Add the tomatoes, meat masala, cumin, cloves, cardamom and cinnamon.
  • Add the chilis and cook on low heat for approximately 45 minutes.
  • Finish with fresh coriander.
