Ingredients
- 2 lbs Pork Neck Bone cut into servings
- 8 Cloves Garlic crushed
- 1 each Ginger, 1" piece sliced
- ¼ tspn Black Peppercorns
- 3 Tbspns Fish Sauce
- 1 Packet Sinigang Seasoning or tamarind & vinegar
- 1 each Onion quartered
- 2 each Corn on the Cob cut into 8 pieces
- 2 each Potatoes quartered
- 20 pieces Green Beans 2½” pieces
- 4 each Bundles Bok Choy
- 10 Leaves Napa Cabbage sliced
- Salt to taste
Instructions
- Place the pork in a large pot with approx. 10 cups of water.
- Bring to a simmer and skim off the scum that comes to the surface.
- Add the garlic, ginger and peppercorns.
- Cover and cook until the pork is tender, approx. 1 hour.
- Add the fish sauce, onions, corn, potatoes and beans and cook for 10 minutes.
- Add the bok choy and cabbage and cook for another 10 minutes.
- Adjust seasoning with the salt, fish sauce and sinigang seasoning.
Notes
If sinigang seasoning or tamarind is unavailable, add some vinegar to add sourness.
