Ingredients

  • 4-6 pieces Chicken
  • 1 Tbspn Garlic paste
  • 2 tspn Ginger paste
  • 1 each Onion, small chopped
  • 2 each Green Chilies chopped
  • 1 sprig Curry Leaves
  • 3 each Cardamom Pods
  • 1 piece Cinnamon
  • 2 tbsp Sri Lankan Roasted Curry Powder
  • 1 Tbspn Chili powder
  • 1 tspn Turmeric Powder
  • 1 each small tomato chopped
  • 2 tsp Lime Juice
  • Salt to taste

Instructions

  • Clean and cut the chicken into pieces, wash and drain.
  • In a sauce pan mix all of the remaining ingredients together.
  • Coat the chicken pieces with the mixture and marinate for about 30 minutes.
  • Heat a little olive oil in a pan and add the chicken.
  • Cook for 5 minutes, add 1 cup of water and allow chicken to cook on medium heat for approximately 30 minutes..
