
Prawn Stir Fry

- 1 Cooks Knife
- 1 Wok or Frying Pan
Ingredients
- 6-12 each Prawns, medium size cleaned
- 1 tspn Soy Sauce
- 1 tspn Turmeric Powder
- 1 Tbspn Garlic paste
- 2 tspns Ginger paste
- 1 each Onion, small chopped
- 1 sprig Curry Leaves
- 1 piece Cinnamon
- 1 each Tomato, small chopped
- 2 Tbspn Dried Chilli Pieces
- 2 each Green Chilies chopped
- 2 each Green Chilies cut Lengthwise into strips
- 2 tspn Lime juice
- salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Mix the prawns with the soy sauce and turmeric.
- Cook until the prawns are tender and then keep warm on the side .
- Heat oil in a different pan and saute the onions, garlic, ginger, until the fragrance is released (about 45 seconds).
- Add the curry leaves, cinnamon, tomato, dried and chopped green chilies.
- Simmer for 5 minutes and add the prawns, then the chili strips.
- Cook for 5 minutes, turn off the stove and add the lime juice.
- Taste and adjust as desired with salt and pepper.
